What to Pack:​
**You should be wearing half of these items when we pick you up.**
The other hiking items should be packed in a separate plastic bag for easy transfer and placed in your duffle bag, so they can be easily moved to your backpack.

**One duffel bag with a name tag: please pack comfortable clothes you will want to change into once you have showered at the lodge, along with toiletries and whatever else you will need until departure day. We will supply you with a garbage bag for your dirty hiker clothes. Please stick to soft duffle bags so we can pack everyone's extra bags in the van with all of our backpacks for our trip. ​​​

Cancelation and Transfer Policy:
A refundable deposit of $400 is required at the time of booking to secure space. Full payment is required 60 days before the departure date. If you decide to cancel your trip, the following fees apply and are due when we receive notice of your cancellation.

Our tents are all 2p accomodations and a solo backpacker will be paired with another solo traveler. If for some reason the trip has an odd number and there is one solo traveler they will have their own 2 p tent.

Single Travelers:
Weather on the Trail:
The weather can be unpredictable, and we will run our trips rain or shine. The daytime temperatures can range from an average of 72-76 degrees and can get down to 52 at night. Some of the higher-elevation hikes can be a little chillier. Our sleeping bags are rated 30-degree bags and will be plenty warm in the summer months.
Fit Levels:
​Fit Level: 1-2
Beginner to intermediate ~ Does some kind of daily activity but has never backpacked or spent the night in a tent on a trail.

Fit Level: 2-3
Intermediate ~Daily activity, walking, riding a bike, weight training. Has done a lot of day hiking or camping but not a multi-day backpacking trip. A bucket list to hike a trip on the Pacific Crest Trail.

Fit Level: 3-4
Intermediate to advanced~ You work out daily. Walking, hiking, biking, weight training. You have been on many day hikes for at least 6-10 miles before. Has been on one or a few backpacking trips but not on the PCT.
Fit Level: 4-5
Advanced~ Has been on several backpacking trips and wants to be challenged physically and mentally on the Pacific Crest Trail. Can Backpack for 12-15 miles per day carrying 20-25 lbs.
